put on your mask safely!

Surgical masks and cloth masks are for members of the general public. They're more comfortable than N95 masks, though less protective. N95 masks are ONLY for healthcare workers. They are more protective, but extremely uncomfortable to wear.

What does this mean?

EVERY TIME you put on your mask:
  • Wash your hands
  • Make sure:
    • The mask is intact
    • The front (usually the colorful side) faces out
  • Put your mask on over your nose and mouth
  • Pinch the nose bridge and pull the mask down so it covers your chin
  • Check for gaps and leaks. Not sure how to do a fit check? Take a look at our guide.
